Human Resources: UAB Self-Service: Employee W2
Employees may view their W2 online utilizing the self-service menu item in the Administrative Systems. The form is available online; however, two W2 forms, if applicable, are mailed to the employee’s address of record. The reason for two mailed forms is due to one available line for local taxation. Because an employee may have two local taxing authorities (i.e. city and county), two forms are issued in order for the taxes to be reported separately. The online W2 lists both county and city taxes on the same form.
