Whether a member chooses to serve on a committee, run for a chapter office, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are unlimited opportunities to be involved in AOII! At the chapter level, there are workshops that foster the understanding of different leadership styles and how to promote group consensus and collaboration.
AOII’s have always been recognized for their
service on campus as well as in the community. Every year, sisters
serve as executive council members and committee members of the Leadership
and Service Council, Homecoming Committee, Springfest Committee,
Undergraduate Student Government Association, and numerous honor
societies.
AOII sisters are part of all four professional
groups on campus-Trailblazers, Ambassadors, Orientation Leaders, and
International Mentors. Sisters are also active in the Indian Cultural
Society, Student Alumni Society, Emerging Leaders, Alpha Epsilon Delta,
Order of Omega, Asian American Organization, American Medical Students
of America, EMSAP, and many more.
AOII supports the Blazer athletic teams through
Blazer Backers, Soccer Sweethearts, Diamond Dolls, and Golden Girls.
It is true wherever you go on campus, you will find an AOII!!
