DuffCourtney Duff, MS, OTR/L, LCT, is owner and CEO of West Alabama Therapy in Bessemer.  She earned her Master of Science from the School of Health Professions in 2004.

Courtney stepped out on faith to pursue her true passion for therapy after working as a special education teacher.  Healthcare disparities among minorities and individuals with disabilities motivated Courtney to pursue a graduate degree in occupational therapy in order to increase the quality of care & educate families.

West Alabama Therapy was given birth out of a desire to reduce the prevailing disparities in health care delivery to people with disabilities, minorities and families of rural areas. West Alabama Therapy is a therapy company that provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services to school systems, hospitals and long term care facilities. The therapists provide specialized services to children and adults with disabilities special health care needs. The mission of West Alabama Therapy is to provide quality patient care to all individuals and communities we serve. Their vision is to become a global model for the delivery of physical, occupational and speech therapy services. 

Courtney has been the recipient of several awards including the 2015 Best in Business Minority Award for Medical Professionals.
