Reese, Alan Skees and Lesley Wheatley: BFA 2004
In April and May, 2004, BFA candidates Alan Skees, Lesley
Wheatley and Holly Reese exhibited their thesis project
works. Skees, who works primarily in printmaking, submitted
an installation, two large-scale print works, and a multimedia
quilt completed in collaboration with sculptor Kristen Smith.
Reese, a ceramicist and sculptor, presented works in cast
iron, clay and multimedia. Wheatley's works, all oil on
canvas, considered the metamorphosing nature of the human
condition in a series of works that considered individuality
and identity.
