The purpose of general body socials/meetings is to provide an opportunity for the Black Graduate student body and faculty to interact in a relaxing atmosphere off campus. The goal of this meeting is to give students an opportunity to voice concerns about UAB student life in a safe, non-threatening environment in our ongoing commitment to be an advocate for black graduate students on UAB’s campus. It is also an opportunity for networking and obtaining information on upcoming events sponsored by the BGSA.
