This year, BGSA’s 3rd Annual Member and Alumni Conference (MAC) will focus on the theme, “Growth and Development of the African American Community Through Education.” This conference builds on the foundation of the former two years and great efforts have been taken to expound on our past success.

The goal of the conference is to bring together current and prospective African-American graduate students for a day of networking, advanced professional/technical leadership, consultation, and expertise within BGSA’s focus areas. By creating a forum for graduate students to interact with each other, successful UAB alumni and local and national experts, we are paving the way to professional and social growth of our community.
