University-wide priorities that limit the availability of the university photographer, while regrettable, do occur, and sometimes with very little notice. The university photographer does not shoot private retirement parties, luncheons, award ceremonies, or events of that nature. If the staff photographer is unavailable, we have outside resources to meet the needs of your request. Should it become necessary to book a freelance photographer, we will provide a list of freelance photographers from which you can choose to book yourself.

Rates

Studio - Individual headshot in studio, client gets jpg images $100

Environmental - Single environmental or headshot taken on location, client gets jpg images $150

Half Day Studio or Location, up to 4 hours $275

Full Day Studio or Location, Up to 8 hours $575

What to wear:

• Wear clothes that are comfortable and that make you look great
• Don't overdress
• Avoid logos or branding
• A simple solid colored shirt/blouse/dress is often a good option
• Avoid white shirts unless you plan to wear it underneath something
• Darker clothes attract less attention and draw the attention to your face and eyes
• Avoid busy patterns and large lines or stripes
• Avoid red as a dominant color
• A suit or jacket is great for men wanting a more professional look
• Physicians should bring a white coat
• Clothes should be neatly pressed and should look new or like new
• Different necklines will change the apparent shape of your face
• Turtlenecks are almost always a bad idea, as they crowd the face
• Keep jewelry extremely simple – small is better
