I have accepted a position with GE to become part of their CLP management-training program. This opportunity will take me to Chicago, Illinois where I will be working in the Consumer and Industrial Division as an outside sales representative.

Highlights of My UAB Experience

UAB exceeded my expectations of what all I could get involved in by 500%. The opportunities to network and gain real-world experience are endless. One of my highlights include accepting the ISA (Industrial Supply Association) Gary Buffington Scholarship that recognizes the top ID student in the nation and awards $10K. The Industrial Distribution program has provided an amazing opportunity for me to combine my interest in both business and engineering. Also, I have had an amazing experience serving as Executive Vice President of the American Marketing Association. This year we have received numerous awards for our operations. It has been a very important part of my career at UAB.

Internship Experience

• Internship with General Electric as an operations and inside sales Co-Op. The position is very hands on and provided a wealth of education and experience that is pertinent to my career.
