Major in Management- Human Resources
The human resources concentration is for students who wish to major in management and pursue a career in human resources, develop a knowledge of employee relations for continuing career development, or gain skills in the increasingly important area of the overall management task.
Human Resources Management Program Endorsed By The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
Major in management requirements:
- Minimum overall 2.0/4.0 GPA
- Minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0 at UAB
- Minimum of an overall 2.0/4.0 in all required lower level business courses attempted
- Have a minimum grade of C in the lower-level business courses. Once a grade of C or better has been earned in one of these courses, subsequent repeats of the course will not be counted toward the minimum 2.0 GPA requirement for lower level business courses
- Have a junior standing
