The Department of Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics (MIDE) offers three undergraduate programs of study that lead to a Bachelor of Science degree: Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics.  Within each program of study, opportunities exist for tailoring coursework to provide more concentrated areas of study.

In addition to the traditional degree programs, we offer several significant and differential areas of study that complement the outstanding medical and engineering community resources in Birmingham. The Charles and Patsy Collat Industrial Distribution (ID) program is one of a small number of such programs in the world and features a one-of a kind area of concentration in Medical Equipment and Supplies Distribution.  The program receives tremendous industry support and awards over $100K in scholarships each year.
