Why an MBA?

Nearing the end of my undergraduate years, I began to look into varying opportunities in the business arena. As I continued my search, I realized that to have the career I desire in the future, I must continue my education. I believe that obtaining my Master in Business Administration is crucial to increasing my overall knowledge of business. Earning an MBA will provide me the opportunity to explore different aspects of business that I was not greatly exposed to in my accounting and finance specialty. By obtaining my Masters in Business Administration and Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I will have the necessary education and tools to accomplish my goal to manage in healthcare administration.
