The world of philanthropy is changing. With the corporate scandals of the past decade we are experiencing a resurgence of corporate social responsibility. I believe the charitable community owes it to the business community to understand these conditions, and offer partnership opportunities that benefit the business and the community. I do not know if my career will keep me where I am or lead me to another side of this new partnership, but I do believe now is the time to build the skills that I will need for either. It is for this reason that I believe that an MBA from UAB will be a strong addition to my career.
