Information Systems Advisory Council

The IS program is fortunate to have an elite and involved group of IS professionals on its Advisory Council. The Advisory Council consists mostly of CIO's from businesses in the Birmingham area. Most of them are UAB alumni. They represent the biggest employers in Birmingham and especially the largest users of IS professionals.

In addition to this advisory council, the IS program also works with a junior advisory council made up of recent IS graduates who are currently employed in the Birmingham area as IS professionals. The council was officially established in the fall of 2006.
