The Office of External Relations at the UAB School of Business provides critical support to our donors, alumni, corporate partners, faculty and students by acting as the bridge to connect the School’s resources to its constituencies.

Our mission is to complement the University and School’s commitment to become a Destination Business School for faculty and students.  We will do this by committing ourselves to the following:

1. Creating a culture of philanthropy in support of the school with meaningful donor engagement.  We will listen to our supporters and understand their philanthropic passions and priorities.

2. Build a community amongst our alumni and supporters serving as a resource for career networking, alumni and student engagement. We will look to build a network in Birmingham and beyond to cities with significant alumni populations.

3. Communicate on a consistent basis by providing valued information to our supporters.

4. Thank our supporters. Whether you are in Birmingham or New York City, your support of the school is important and we will be the first to thank you.

If you are an alumnus, parent, or friend of UAB our team of development and alumni professionals will be visiting cities across the country to speak with you to learn more about you and your interest in UAB or the School of Business.
