The UAB School of Business Instructional Design Team collaborates with faculty in the development and enhancement of quality instruction focusing on learning theories, pedagogy, best practices, and emerging technologies for active and engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of today’s learners.

Elizabeth collaborates primarily with instructors new to the online environment in development of new online or blended courses or a major revision to existing online courses. Together faculty and she work to ensure that the course meets Quality Matters standards and engages the students. She facilitates a training course for instructors developing online courses and audits courses to ensure Quality Matters standards and best practices are followed. Finally, she collaborates with faculty to develop continual improvement plans for online courses. Randi collaborates with faculty members, who have previous online course development experience, to develop additional new online courses and revise existing online courses. She provides support to all School of Business faculty regarding the use of Blackboard and other technology in their courses. Randi also serves as the Blackboard Administrator for the School of Business and communicates with the UAB Blackboard Administrator on related issues.
