The School of Business will soon be home to the newest, freshest food eatery on campus!
ZeBi, a new bistro featuring freshly made sandwiches, salads, soups and gourmet grab-and-go, is moving into the space currently occupied by the Simply to Go Cart next to the lobby. ZeBi, short for Zest Bistro, will also feature trade coffee and organic teas, as well as fresh baked goods and a few entrée items.
The lobster mac and cheese is a must, we hear!
The bistro will be a convenient alternative for hungy students, and it will accept meal plans.
Construction will begin Monday, May 14, and the new bistro is scheduled to open in August during the first week of the fall semester. The current Simply to Go Cart will be closed during construction.
The hours have not been set yet, but Sodexo initially expects to operate the eatery from morning to early evening to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
While this is the first ZeBi in the Southeast United States, there are a few located at other universities, such as George Washington University in Washington DC. It’s a new concept from Sodexo that focuses on fresh food and sustainability. The School of Business bistro will feature a small seating area and will open to the outside patio just off the lobby.
