Ford Motor Credit Company, the global vehicle financing subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, has hired seven UAB School of Business graduates for the Ford Credit Leadership Development Program (FCLDP). The multiyear program, which provides experience in six finance roles, is designed to cultivate skills in team management, business development and financial analysis.

Accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the international seal of approval for business and accounting programs that insures students receive the most enriching education in business-related programs through high quality, continuous improvement and excellence in education.

Only approximately 600 business schools world-wide have achieved this seal of excellence and out of that number only 170 schools, including UAB, have achieved accreditation for both business and accounting programs. UAB was among the first 17 accounting programs to receive accreditation by AACSB the very first year the association began evaluating accounting programs in 1982.
As graduates of the Professional Sales Certificate (PSC) program, we want to inform other UAB students that the PSC offers students a means to distinguish themselves as committed professionals in sales and customer service regardless of their major. Students in the program gain a professional understanding of the sales process and customer relationship development. Anyone pursuing a career in sales or wishing to enhance his/her interpersonal communication skills would benefit from the Sales Certificate. All majors from across UAB are eligible to compete for entrance into the program.
