acis_stephen_yoder_croppedBusiness law professor Steve Yoder was quoted in a recent story on Birmingham’s NPR station, WBHM, on litigation pending in several states, including Alabama,  over the application of hotel occupancy taxes to rooms booked online.  Yoder noted that there is little guidance from litigation in other states because of varying results, and that the solution may be to enact a federal law.  These cases raise the applicability of the U.S. Constitution to business, which is one of Yoder’s teaching and research interests.  Hear full story
