Assistant Professor Yoder says Birmingham is still seen as a Financial Center

A recent article in the The Birmingham Business Journal covers the failure of Superior Bank announced on April 15, 2011, new banks in town, cost of failure, new Superior strategy and Birmingham’s banking future.

“Despite the many changes, Birmingham is still seen as a financial center,” said Assistant Professor Yoder. “It’s one of the largest banking centers in the Southeast,” he said. “I believe that Birmingham still has talented bankers, and it is a good market for banks to be in.”
