Students Compete at NABA Annual Conference

NABAAccounting students Grant Robinson, Natasha Lundy, Eboni Toney and Courtney Foster were invited by the National Association of Black Accountants to compete at the organization's Student Case Competition during the NABA Annual Conference in Orlando in June.

Sponsored by KPMG, the team was presented with an accounting-related issue to research during the competition and developed a well-defined solution to the problem, which they presented to a panel of judges comprised of representatives from public accounting, corporate accounting, and academia.

The competition was a wonderful experience for the students, allowing them to apply their classroom learning to a real-world problem and reinforced the UAB School of Business' commitment to applied learning experiences.
