Endorsement from participant:

Delilah Webb, President, Southern Automated Systems, Inc.: “Thanks so much to UAB for the Project Management Certification Course!  Having been actively involved in project management for almost 30 years, I thought I was proficient in this part of my profession; but I was proven wrong almost immediately.  While studying chapter 2 (yes - the SECOND chapter), I realized that I had overlooked 3 important issues in a proposal that was ready to be sent to a client the next morning.  I immediately revised the proposal to include those three issues (involving a stakeholder, need for communications, and documentation development), and discovered a difference of over $7,000.00 in the proposal (about 5% of the total investment).  That is money that would have been spent – and lost – by my company because of my lack of knowledge and training in project management.  It is appalling to think of all those previous projects that were not managed properly.  It is exciting to think that the knowledge I am gaining will enable me to better manage projects in the future.  Knowledge gained in this course will result in lower project costs, more accurate sales figures for clients, better client satisfaction, less time to complete projects, and the increased probability of having a successful project.

After just 3 weeks (6 classes) I am infinitely more knowledgeable and effective in my job – and have saved $7,000 to prove it!  I can’t wait to learn more!  Thanks, again!”
