Students Win Shopping Sprees to the Shops of Grand River

OMG winners Georgia Luch and Christopher DoakesOver 80 UAB Business students recently competed in the OMG Graduation Business Interview Competition by submitting an “Elevator Pitch” video and resume to UAB School of Business Career and Professional Development Services. 

Ten finalists (five male and five female) were selected to be interviewed and judged by a panel of Birmingham employers and members of the Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM).  Finalists were judged on appearance and dress, resume, answers to five interview questions, and closing the interview. Winners of the competition were students Georgia Luch and Christopher Doakes.  Each won a $250 shopping spree to the Shops of Grand River Outlet Mall.
