School of Business Hosts Information Systems Summit for Local High Schools

Students and teachers from four schools, Ramsay HS, Hoover HS, Spain Park HS and Hewitt-Trussville HS, came  to UAB's campus on Sept. 18th to learn about the Information Systems (IS) program at UAB and meet with Brasfield & Gorrie and Southern Company representatives to learn how a degree in IS fits into their companies. Schools competed against each other in an IS quiz competition. Hoover HS broke a tie with Spain Park HS to win the award plaque.  more photos
