Mentoring / Job Shadowing

We invite you to participate in our Experiential Education program, which offers students opportunities in Mentoring and Job Shadowing. Perhaps you would like to be a mentor to one of our students seeking advice from a professional in the field.

On-Campus Interviews

Representatives from public and private companies meet and interview business students on campus year-round. We invite you to come to campus and use new designated interview space in the School of Business. There is no charge to conduct private interviews with our students. We will help you promote your visit and arrange your interview schedule.

Post a Job

Employers have the opportunity to advertise their current job openings on our on-line job database for students that is accessible 24/7 via DragonTrail. You may choose to post your announcements for fulltime, part-time, co-op, and internship opportunities on the UAB Career Services website and make them available for viewing by thousands of candidates. Or you may choose to have your announcement sent directly to our students in targeted majors.

Resume Referrals

Applicants can be pre-screened based on the objective criteria that an employer provides us. We will forward those resumes that most nearly match an employer’s hiring needs. After an employer has identified resumes of interest, the employer can then set up an on-campus recruiting event or set the event at the employer’s office. Resumes of qualified candidates can be sent to you quickly and easily.

School of Business Career Fairs

During the fall term, Accounting and Information Systems have “Meet the Employers” and “Meet the Companies” events specifically for their students. Employers have a chance to get to know students before the official interview process. Check the School of Business calendar for dates or contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
