Etty (Tika) Benveniste, Ph.D--Regulation of Cytokine/Adhesion Molecule Expression in the Brain


Research Description:

We are studying how cytokines regulate expression of adhesion molecules and class II MHC antigens in glial cells (astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, microglia), and how these molecules contribute to CNS diseases such as multiple sclerosis and AIDS dementia complex.
