Blazer5k 190x190Blazer 5K/1 Mile Walk
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is thrilled to present the inaugural Blazer 5K & 1 Mile Walk as a part of the Homecoming festivities on October 22nd starting at 8am! You can register as an individual or in a team and the 5K race is for ages 12 and up. The 1 mile walk is for ages 6 and up and children 5 and younger can ride in strollers for either event.

The Green is an open green space designed to be accessible, safe, attractive, and to be used by members of the University community and their guests.  The Green is defined as the grassy area bounded by sidewalks, which include University Boulevard, the Campus Recreation Center and steps, Heritage Hall, Chemistry Building, Dining Commons, Camp Hall and 10th Avenue South.

Check out everything Campus Recreation programs and services have to offer this month like our Blazer 5K on Saturday the 22nd.  Try an outdoor activity such as biking at Red Mountain Park or rock climbing at Little River Canyon.
