 UAB Career and Professional Development Services is proud to announce Southern Company as the 2011 Recruiter of the Year. Southern Company continually had a recruiting presence at UAB during 2011. Representatives from Southern Company attended both Spring and Fall career events and hosted several information sessions to answer questions about Southern Company operations. Representative also participated in several speaker panels for Career and Professional Development Services on campus. Representatives from Southern Company have also served as mentors to students in the Mentor Program and have conducted on-campus interviews resulting in the hiring of numerous students in full time positions as well as internships and co-ops.
