Terrence Wimberly: NAP
Presented by the College of Arts and SciencesDepartment of Art and Art History, Terrence Wimberly: NAP will feature animation and collage projections with a corresponding soundtrack and will take place in the UAB DAAH Project Space from 5-6 p.m. Wimberly will DJ a welcome back dance party for students at 8 p.m.

The UAB DAAH Project Space is located on the ground floor of the Humanities Building, 900 13th St. South.

The collages in NAP were created during Adjunct Professor Jared Ragland’s summer 2016 Camera-less course and combine appropriated photographs of African hairstyles with floral still life images and contour line illustrations. The instrumental soundtrack was written, recorded, and produced by Wimberly.

Project Space is an adaptive space that provides an alternative platform for UAB students, faculty and community to engage teaching, research, public service and visual art practices.
