Research Interests

My doctoral research addresses whether climate-induced elevated seawater temperatures will affect the reproduction, feeding, growth, immune response, and behavior of the sea urchin Lytechinus variegatus. More generally, I am interested in echinoderm ecology and physiology and I have been involved with projects investigating regeneration and photoreception in sea cucumbers, as well as the distribution of echinoderms on the slope of the western Antarctic Peninsula.
