List of Equipment

The facilities available for this project include nitrogen/vacuum lines for the preparation of air sensitive compounds, inert atmosphere glove box (Innovative Technologies), electrochemical workstation (BAS 100B) with various accessories for different voltammetric experiments, spectrofluorometer (Perkin Elmer), UV-vis spectrophotometer (Perkin Elmer), FT-IR (Bruker), X-ray diffractometer, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer (PerSeptive), and a frequency domain excited state spectrophotometer (currently under development). Additional fast, time-resolved spectroscopic techniques are available through a collaboration with Dr. James K. McCusker at the Department of Chemistry, University of California at Berkeley.
