Avid Certified in Pro Tools®


Kevin is a senior Music Technology major. He composes music and designs sound for the various video projects, and is looking to create a library of music for the Digi Team to use for any video. Kevin is Avid certified in Pro Tools and also has a home music studio where he records the music of local bands. In 2012, Peek won a national Kennedy Center ACTF Award for his compositions and sound design featured in Theatre UAB's 2011 production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle. He also composed and arranged music for Birmingham City Equity Theatre's 2012 production of Ruined by Lynn Nottage, and will design sound for Theatre UAB's Fall 2013 production of Big Love by Charles Mee. After graduation, Peek plans to continue his work in composing and design for theatre and video, possibly releasing an album of original concept music. He also wants to get some experience engineering and producing in a real recording studio.
