Exhibition: UAB presents Leslie Wayne: “Mind the Gap,” in the UAB Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, 1221 10th Ave. South.

A reception is planned 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 6.

“Mind The Gap,” an exhibition by New York artist Leslie Wayne, presents a cross section of the artist’s past and present works. Wayne is an internationally exhibited artist whose works have appeared in such publications as The New York Times, ARTnews and Art in America. Wayne also is a recipient of a Joan Mitchell Artist Grant and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Artist Grant. Admission is free. The AEIVA is open to the public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-6 p.m. Saturday and is closed Sundays and holidays.
