Exhibition: UAB presents “Interlude / Influence: Faculty and Alumni at Work,” in the UAB Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts, 1221 10th Ave. South.

A reception is planned 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29.

“Interlude / Influence” will present works from current UAB Department of Art and Art History faculty and select alumni. The exhibition will examine the dynamics of the master/apprentice relationship that occurs within the academic art context. Admission is free. The AEIVA is open to the public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-6 p.m. Saturday and and closed Sundays and holidays.
