Foreign Language Minors
Minors Offered: Chinese, French, German, Japanese or Spanish
The minor consists of 12 hours from 200-level or higher courses, of which no fewer than 6 hours must be at the 200 level. The remainder may be comprised of any combination of courses and/or Study Abroad. Any Chinese, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish course in which the student receives a grade of “C” or higher may be applied toward the minor in that language.

The Film Minor
The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is participates in the interdisciplinary Film minor available in the College of Arts and Sciences. This minor encompasses both film studies and filmmaking in all genres of experimental, narrative, and documentary film.
It is an appropriate complement to either a major or minor in Foreign Languages. Dr. Serge Bokobza is the departmental adviser for the film minor and can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
