The UAB Institutional Review Board (IRB) is designed to approve, monitor, and review biomedical and behavioral research involving humans. The CAS Research Office has partnered with the IRB to offer a training session on May 8, 2012 at 2 PM in Heritage Hall Room 106. This session will serve as an introduction to the IRB as a requirement for any research involving human participants. Some information participants can expect to learn includes how to discern whether or not IRB approval is needed for their research and how to submit a protocol for review.
