Matt King joined the department at UAB in January 2014,
having previously held appointments at Carleton College, Virginia Tech, St. Bonaventure University, and the UCLA School of Law. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park and in a past life was an improv comedian at the University of Virginia.
Dr. King's current research concerns questions
about the nature of action, desert, and moral responsibility, and intersects with work in ethics, cognitive science, and the law.
