We welcome your interest in the UAB Medical / Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program, which is jointly sponsored by our School of Medicine and College of Arts and Sciences. We have particular strengths in medically-relevant areas like health psychology and behavioral medicine, neuropsychology, gerontology, and pediatric psychology. The scope of our program is enhanced by the range of faculty expertise, multiple UAB Schools and Centers, and affiliated and community-based health care facilities that provide students access to a variety of didactic learning, research, and clinical training opportunities.

The Medical/Clinical Psychology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association to award the doctorate in clinical psychology. Contact the Commission at 750 First Street NE, Washington DC, 20002-4242 or call 202-336-5500 for questions about the accreditation status of this program.
