Lindsay Allen in RED LIGHT WINTER

We figured Department alum Lindsay Bartlette Allen would take the New York theatre world by storm, since that's where she went -- but now she's capturing headlines in Chicago, thanks to the new play Red Light Winter.

Red Light WinterThe play, produced by the Fairlane Theatre Company, is an unapologetically nervy one; Lindsay plays a Dutch prostitute rented as a "gift" for a writer on the brink of suicide. It's been garnering excellent reviews and will run through March 8th.

Words of Wisdom

"I've met actors where you think, 'if only you could just clean up your act and get it together, people would want to work with you.' Some people are so difficult, it's just not worth working with them."
