Sean coordinates the lighting and sound for all Department of Theatre production, tours, and showcases. He also has designed sound for several UAB Department of Theatre productions. Sean, a native of Alexandria, VA and a graduate of Gonzaga College High School, has been a theatre technical and designer for almost 20 years. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with graduate work at the University of Iowa.

Sean is a proud former member of the Stage Hands Union, IATSE. He has worked as a technician for Capital Repertory Theatre, Touchstone Theatre, The University of Iowa, The University of Missouri Kansas City, California State University at Fresno, CSU Summer Arts Program, The Presidential Scholar Young Arts Program, Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre (VA), Signature Theatre (NYC), Blue Heron Art Center (NYC), George Street Playhouse, New Harmony Repertory Theatre, Muhlenberg Summer Musical Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The Just Off Broadway Theatre Association, The Next Space (KCMO), Unicorn Theatre, Actors Theatre of Kansas City, Peoples Light & Theatre, The Atlas Performing Arts Center, Dollywood, Six-Flags, DC Fringe Festival, Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Kansas City Fringe Festival, Stageworks(PA), PA Youth Theatre, Penn State Abington, Georgetown University, GALA Hispanic Theatre, MetroStage, Synetic Theatre, The Folger Shakespeare Library, The Roxey Ballet Company, Theatre J(DC), Mosaic Theatre, Arena Stage, Wooly Mammoth Theatre, The National Black Theatre Festival, The Shakespeare Women’s Company, Red Mountain Theatre Company, and the Contemporary American Theatre Festival.

Sean has designed lights and/or sound for PA Youth Theatre, Touchstone Theatre, Lehigh University (both as a student and professionally), Anthos Theatre (Sydney), Capital Repertory Theatre(LORT D), New Harmony Theatre(LORT D), Stageworks, The Roxey Ballet Company, Shakespeare Women’s Company, Blue Heron Arts Center, The Just Off Broadway Theatre Association, Tyme Works at The Next Space, Dollywood, Penn State Abington, The National Black Theatre Festival, Dominion Stage, Little Theatre of Alexandria, King Fisher Theatre, The Little Pond, Theatre for New Medicine, CSU Fresno, and ARTStream.

Sean served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Just Off Broadway Theatre Association. He is a graduate of Lehigh University with graduate work at the University of Iowa.
