In
order to strengthen the mission of the UAB Breast SPORE towards
translating basic research findings into a clinical setting,
we have developed a comprehensive database specifically tailored
to meet the needs of the UAB Breast SPORE investigators.
This
database encompasses detailed patient information including
demographic, reproductive, risk factor, clinical, pathological,
genetic, biomarker, recurrence and follow-up information that
surpasses any and all information previously available to scientists
from other standard data sources including the already established
UAB Hospital Tumor Registry.
