Biostatistics Clinics in 2012

Biostatistics Clinics in 2012

The CCTS will continue to offer a bi-weekly Biostatistics Clinic on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Clinics are held from 11:30 to 1:30 in the Jefferson Tower 15th floor multi-purpose room (JT 1575A), part of the CCTS Clinical Research Unit. A light lunch is available.

These drop-in clinics are designed for investigators needing assistance with:
-- Study Design
-- Sample Size and Power Calculations
-- Data Analysis
-- Display of Data and Results
-- Interpretation of Results
-- Statistical Software

The biostatistics clinic is open to all faculty members, post-docs, fellows, residents, and students. Attendees are invited to bring statistical and methodological questions about on-going research projects, projects being planned, manuscripts in progress, responses to peer reviewers, and published articles. They are also invited to bring their laptops.

Investigators with specific questions to be addressed at the clinic are also welcome to send their questions, draft manuscripts, draft project proposals, and de-identified datasets in advance to Dr. Bob Oster.
