Faculty Biostatistics Forum March 21 Focuses on Sample Size Calculations

The monthly Faculty Biostatistics Forum for 2013 resumes on Thursday, March 21, with speaker Chul Ahn, Ph.D., of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, presenting:  “Sample Size Calculations for Clustered and Longitudinal Outcomes.” The Forum takes place 10–11 a.m. in Medical Towers room 634.

The Faculty Biostatistics Forum welcomes participation from across UAB and its partnering institutions. These meetings offer a standing time for discussion of basic or advanced statistical and methodological problems in study design and data analysis, and also for statistical education. Speakers may be investigators who seek statistical advice or statisticians who want to present their own work on statistical applications to medical and public health research.
