The October installment of the Faculty Biostatistics Forum takes place Thursday, October 18, 10–11 a.m. in Medical Towers room 634. Alan Canor, Ph.D., professor, Division of Preventative Medicine, will lead a discussion on "Statistical Aspects of Phase 2 Clinical Trial Designs."

The Faculty Biostatistics Forum welcomes participation from across UAB and its partnering institutions. These meetings offer a standing time for discussion of basic or advanced statistical and methodological problems in study design and data analysis, and also for statistical education. Speakers may be investigators who seek statistical advice or statisticians who want to present their own work on statistical applications to medical and public health research.
