Online Vocabulary of Clinical and Translational Science Course—now registering

Registration is now open for the Online Vocabulary of Clinical and Translational Science course (now known as the CTS Lexis), which runs March 25–May 31, 2013. Developed through collaborative efforts with the UAB School of Nursing, the Online Vocabulary Course is designed for residents, fellows, graduate and professional students, and others interested in pursuing a career in clinical and translational science.This free course is available to UAB faculty, staff and students. A Blazer ID is required for participation.The goals of this course are three-fold:

    To introduce participants to clinical and translational science so that they are better prepared to read and interpret the medical literature through their understanding of research design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation. 

    To provide participants a foundation for further training in clinical and translational research.

    To prepare participants to make informed decisions regarding whether or not to pursue clinical and translational science as part of their career path.

Participants must complete 10 modules in order to receive a certificate of completion. Click here to register.​
