Our mission is to apply social and behavioral science methods to the interdisciplinary investigation of HIV/AIDS to improve the understanding, prevention, and treatment of HIV/AIDS and improve the quality of life of persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Our services, training, and education include:
  • Recruitment/ Retention
  • Treatment/Medication Adherence
  • Focus Group Planning/Conducting
  • Behavioral Science Survey/Instrument development
  • Access to data for pilot studies
  • Analysis of behavioral data
  • Risk reduction (primary and secondary)
  • Drug (use, abuse, addiction, treatment)
  • Condom use (utilization, measures)
  • Voluntary Counseling & Testing
  • Mental Health/ Mental Illness
  • Cognitive and Neurological effects of HIV/AIDS
  • Adolescent Sexual Health
  • Specific Populations (homeless, MSM, sex workers, injection drug users.)
