technologist identifies antigens which indicate the stage and
type of leukemia
Medical technologists in immunology analyze samples for the
presence and quantity of antibodies or antigens. This information
may be used to diagnose infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders
or immunodeficiencies; for the prognosis of disease states; or to
monitor response to therapy.
