The annual UAB Neuroscience Research Day is an opportunity to celebrate graduate research in the neurosciences. Each year one UAB alumnus and two current graduate students are invited to give oral presentations. All graduate students in the neurosciences as well as postdocs and faculty are invited to present their work at the poster session and reception that follows. To register your poster for presentation (open to all) and competition (graduate students only), please click here and register by Monday, February 4th, 5 pm.

The UAB Comprehensive Neuroscience Center seeks applications from the broad UAB community for Program Development and Research Acceleration Awards. The objective of these awards is to bring together groups of investigators to develop new collaborations likely to compete for large-scale NIH P- and U-series grants or similar funding. Groups of investigators may seek CNC funding of up to $50,000 per group, and matching funds from other units are strongly encouraged.
