UAB Special Studies provides more than subject matter and instructors to enhance your learning experiences. We also provide the physical facilities for classes, conferences, meetings, and training sessions. In addition to housing our own educational programs, the UAB Continuing Education Center (CEC), 1919 University Blvd., is available for private companies and organizations to lease. |
The CEC amenities include large comfortable meeting rooms; a 420-seat auditorium; small conference rooms, a spacious and attractive reception area perfect for on-site registration; full media support; teleconferencing capability; a professional conference/meeting staff to support your needs; a weatherproof walkway to the Radisson Hotel next door; morning and afternoon breaks for your participants; a location convenient to downtown; and a university environment.
