The UAB community is invited to participate in celebrating culture, heritage and diversity at UAB Community Wee, Jan. 25-29.

This year, Acting Deputy Director of the Office on Trafficking in Persons in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Rochelle Rollins will conclude a busy week of events with her presentation "Healthcare Professionals Can End Human Trafficking" on Friday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. in UAB's Spain Auditorium.  Dr. Rollins' visit is well-timed, as January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

For more on the week's activities, visit UAB News or see a full schedule of events on the UAB Student Site.  UAB Community Week is sponsored by the Student Multicultural and Diversity Programs.
