Giving to the Comprehensive Cancer Center
It starts with your gift. One of only 41 institutions in the nation to receive the prestigious “comprehensive” designation from the National Cancer Institute, the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center combines the areas of cancer research, treatment, education and community outreach into a dynamic and exciting environment that impacts the lives of Alabamians and beyond.
The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center has been a leader in the fight against cancer since it was first established as one of the original eight comprehensive cancer centers by President Richard Nixon in 1971. For more than 30 years, we have maintained our status by offering groundbreaking research and clinical care for the thousands of cancer patients who pass through our doors every year.
The UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center still relies on community support. Your gift to the Cancer Center will help us achieve our vision of eliminating cancer as a major public health problem. Make your donation using our online giving tool.
